Finally Christmas is here!! and this festive season I have in stock some berry colored lip products that are so tantalising you would want to be caught under the mistletoe. I have always been a fan of berry shades and if I had a chance I would wear it everyday of the year. So I decided to make a list of my top 5 berry lip colors that include some splurge worthy lip products and some that are a total steal. Tom Ford Matte Lipstick – Plum Lush (Splurge): Plum Lush is one of the deepest shades in the Tom Ford matte collection. It has gorgeous raspberry hues with some blue undertones. The texture is a rich velvety matte or a creamy matte with the right amount of luminosity. Definitely a collectors item if you feel like splurging Read the full review here… Too Faced Melted Lipstick – Melted Berry (Splurge): The Melted lipsticks have some intense rich colors in their range. This one in particular is a gorgeous cool toned fuchsia raspberry shade. The product is dewy on application and provides a velvety smooth effect upon settling that feels comfortable. I have been complimented on a number of occasions when I wore this color so I consider this a worthy buy! Read the full review here… Laqa and Co. Fat Lip Pencil – Palate Cleanser (Steal): I had tried the Fat Lip pencil in Jammy bastard when I received it in my January Fab Bag and liked it so much that I decided to get the Palate Cleanser shade as well. Palate Cleanser is a rich berry shade with strong red undertones. The lip pencil glides on smoothly and after a while it settles into a dewy matte lip colour. This shade in particular is very pigmented but it doesn’t budge or smudge. Read more… Maybelline Baby Lips – Berry Crush Lip Balm (Steal): Since it is winter, I had to include atleast one berry tinted lip balm. Inspite of being a lip balm it hides my pigmentation really well. In the swatch below it appears to be a little less pigmented than it actually is on application. The texture is a bit creamy due to which it lasts longer than any normal lip balm. This product is very similar to Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced up in Berry Sherbet that I have reviewed earlier if you would like to know more about it… Faces Ultimate ProLongwear – Very Berry (Steal): Very Berry is a rich Marsala shade that will help you experience vampy colors without stepping out of your comfort zone. It is probably one of the most pigmented lipsticks in my entire lipstick collection. It stands very true to its claim of being a long lasting lipstick. It smoothly glides on lips and then appears to give a nice velvet matte look. Read the full review here…
