Nude nailpolishes are a must in any girls nail enamel collection. To think of it a whole collection being launched of nude shades by the famous Ciaté was like the icing on the cake. I always wanted to try the Ciaté collection and when I came across their Complexion Collection I knew I had to pick my perfect Nude nail color from this range itself. As expected Ciaté nail enamel turned out to be a total showstopper and won my heart. Let’s dig in a little deeper as to how Ciaté nail enamels are worth the hype.

Claims: Elegant nails with Complexion Collection. Ciaté has done it again, created a series of shades of nail polish that gives an elegant and classic look. Complexion Collection is designed for you to match your skin, just like with foundation, all to create the illusion of long elegant nails. According Ciatés creator, Charlotte Knight, “Nude nail polish colors now have putted down the rose from his throne as the chic nail polish”
With shimmer in nail varnish, gives you that perfect surface of the nail, which reflects light from the sun and your manicure looks absolutely flawless out.

Results: The Ciaté Nail Enamels come in a slim and classy glass packaging with an adorable black bow on it. The idea of launching the Complexion Collection was so that everyone can choose their ideal nude shade as per their complexion. There are 5 colors available in this collection namely Ivory Queen, Golden Sands, Honey Bee, Butterscotch and Peccan Pie. The color I decided to go for was Butterscotch.
The brush was flawless and left absolutely no strokes marks. The rich texture when applied is a little creamy on application. I know this may seem like a negative point for many although I really liked as it is completely opaque in only one coat (though I have applied two coats in the clicks). Once the polish is dry you can feel the smooth finish of the polish. For a smoother look and feel you might like adding a top coat to seal a shine on the top.
I did not apply the base coat but only applied a base coat to increase the durability. This totally worked as the nail color lasted for nearly 4-5 days with minimum fading. The nail polish doesn’t chip or peel off and it fades in an even pattern. The concept of adding a little shimmer to a nude nail color worked fantastically as not only did it highten the look of the nail color but at the same time maintained its sophistication of being a nude shade as you can see in the clicks below.

Overall verdict: Ciaté London has had some really great collections in the past but their Complexion Collection is one of a kind. Everything about this nail enamel is amazing from its choice in color for various skin tones to durability. Do check out this collection as you would not regret it for sure. Thumbs Up!
