I knew you would be and that is why we will be reviewing today a fabulous mascara by Givenchy that gives us all these effects through one single masacara. During my latest trip to London I picked up one of the finest holiday set by Givenchy from Debenhams known as My Timeless Accessories Make-up Set. This set includes a Noir Couture 4-in-1 mascara in Black Satin shade and a mini Le Rouge lipstick in Rose Dressing shade. Today we will only be reviewing the mascara as I have to tell you ladies so much about it that I would have to review the lipstick another time.

Price: £24.50 for 8gm/0.28oz but as I had got it as an Easter holiday set I got the entire set for £24.50

Claims:

What it does: This multitasking mascara is formulated with Givenchy’s exclusive lash booster expert complex that provides nutrition, revitalization, fortification, and protection. 

Research results: Based on a self-evaluation on 32 women after 4 weeks of daily application: 

– 91% had visibly volumized, curled, and lengthened lashes Based on clinical scoring on 32 women after 8 weeks of daily application: 

– 100% recorded lash beauty and strength, surface shine, evenness, and suppleness

Results:
Do you remember the iconic spherical brush of Givenchy Phenomen’eyes mascara? Which gave the ultimate length and curl to your lashes. Now imagine that effect but tripled as the brush of the Noir Couture 4 in 1 mascara has three spheres in this brush. This trio helps you coat your lashes in a variety of angles. Also the formula of this mascara is new and advanced as it helps boost lashes by providing nutrition, revitalization, fortification, and protection. Honestly, I keep switching between mascara brands so often that I cannot really comment about the lash boosting property of it as I have not seen any visible difference.

Absolutely adore the neat black and silver packaging which makes it look very classy and elegant. The tube has a stopper in it that wipes off excess mascara allowing the perfect amount of product to be transferred onto the bristles of the brush.

It can be a great evening wear mascara as it gives the required volume and length and is kind of dramatic. It isn’t waterproof so comes off a little easier but lasts all day long and is smudge-proof. I prefer using non waterproof mascaras as compared to their waterproof versions which when used extensively everyday can be harmful for your lashes. At times I have worn it for the entire day and it has never flaked on me. It holds the curl for long and does not melt in harsh summers too. Even after applying 2-3 coats it does not clump. All in all I would say that I am super happy with the curl, volume and length this mascara provides me and would definitely give it a big Thumbs Up! Highly Recommended.
