Maybelline has been one of my most favourite drugstore brands for the longest time. I adore their low on price but never low on quality attitude. This time yet again Maybelline has launched another one of their budget friendly pressed powder compacts that is perfect for every woman on the go.

Claims: Maybelline New York introduces it’s all new perfecting compact powder, White Super Fresh that comes in three shades, Pearl, Shell and Coral. The new perlite formula absorbs oil and sweat and gives you a fresh look all through the day. Now bid goodbye to touch-ups and stay fresh and fair upto 12hours.

Results:

  • The feature that I liked the most about this product is its handy travel friendly packaging. The sturdy white container has a mirror along with a sponge powder puff making it perfect to use it on the go. The applicator sponge is very efficient and I have been using it for a while, it is really soft and spreads and blends the product very well.
  • The product is available in 3 shades: Pearl (Light to Medium), Shell (Medium) & Coral (Medium to Dark). I have a NC40 skintone and the Shell shade is my perfect match. The soft texture completely merges with the skin and does not appear chalky or cakey on application. It provides light to medium coverage but if you have some stubborn blemishes or dark circles then I would recommend you to use a high coverage foundation and concealer below this.
  • My T-zone usually gets shiny by the end of the day however within a week I had noticed that this powder keeps my T-zone shine-free without having to blot it. The pure perlite keeps me fresh and fair throughout the day by absorbing sweat, isn’t that amazing?
  • The product claims to have a lasting power of 12hours but since I personally do not use makeup for that long I cannot testify for this claim. Nonetheless, in my case this product has lasted upto 6-8 hours without touchup which is very promising in itself.

Overall Verdict: A decent everyday use pressed powder, a perfect match for oily and combination skin. Budget friendly yet good quality. Recommended.
