Milani Baked Blush – Bella Rosa – The Chicster Diaries
HiyA Lovelies,
Lately, there have been only two blushes that I have grown absolutely fond of. The Chanel Joues Contraste Blush which I use as a daytime blush and the Milani Baked Blush Bella Rosa which I use as an evening wear blush. You can check out the review of the Chanel Joues Contraste Blush HERE. I like my evening wear blushes to be much more pigmented than my daytime blushes. While hunting online for a new evening wear blush I came across this blush and since I had heard a lot about Milani Blushes so I purchased this one as an experiment based on just its attractive color. So lets find out what did I learn about this blush in a span of little time that I have spent with it.

Price: £4.50 for 5g
Claims: This silky blush with benefits can be used so many ways. It shapes, it contours, it highlights. Sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles, it’s buildable from sheer to vibrant. Yes, it adds a cheeky pop of colour to your complexion. Radiance and warmth, too.

Results: The packaging of this blush is pretty attractive. The blush comes in a big round container with a see through lid on the top from where the beautiful color peeks. Inside this container when you lift the blush there is a brush and a mirror that makes the application process much more easy and travel friendly. Though the packaging is good as you can see in the pictures the name imprinted has nearly disappeared on the top lid of the container.
The Milani Baked blush collection has some really pretty shades to choose from. All the colors are stunning but I liked the color Bella Rosa most of them all. Bella Rosa is a warm toned bright rosey red shade. Best of all what I like is that it has no shimmer particles in it. Being a warm tone it works brilliantly with my NC42 skintone. The texture is really smooth and since it is a powder blush it blends very well and diffuses into my skin making it look all natural.
The blush is extremely pigmented and I do not have to work to build the color. By extremely pigmented I mean that you cannot apply it like your regular blushes, only light dabbing motion is suggested by me to get a natural look. One stroke of the brush, a little tapping, a little dabbing and blending and am good to go. The lasting power of the blush is fantastic, it stays on for easily more than 7-8 hours which is quite impressive.
Overall Verdict: I had been hearing about the Milani Baked Blushes for quite a long time in terms of their color selection, pigmentation, texture and staying power and after trying it now I feel its worth the hype.
