I have always had a soft spot for serums and face masks. Mainly serums have been a staple product of mine in every season and every weather. Today, I will be reviewing for you the Vôtre Face Serum that been a part of my daily routine for nearly a month. Vôtre is one of the few brands in India that has to offer 100% botanical, vegan and cruelty free products to its customers, Impresive right?

Claims: This Aqua rich revitalizing (PM) serum enriched with virgin cold pressed oils, Herbal blends & innovative Molecules! Which helps to brighten the complexion and reduce fine lines. How do you use it? Take a small amount of the serum and massage onto the face till it gets absorbed.

Price: Rs. 1670/- for 12ml

Results:

  1. The serum is housed in an opaque glass bottle with a glass dropper in it. The dropper makes the application process super easy and hygienic. However, I am a bit over cautious of the fragile glass dropper as I feel that I might accidentally drop it and honestly would have appreciated a plastic dropper more. 
  2. The product has a light and pleasant scent that I can’t quite distinguish. It is not at all bothersome to me and does not linger around for a long time so people who are sensitive to scents need not worry.
  3. The formula of this milky white product is very light and non-sticky. It gets easily absorbed by the skin within a couple of minutes without leaving a greasy layer on it.
  4. Upon application the skin feels supple and revitalized. I have used it prior to makeup application and it teams up just fine with makeup products. The skin seems happily hydrated without any dry patches. Most of all I like mixing a drop of this with my foundation and using it as it makes the product more blendable and gives an even finish. 
  5. Within a week of religious application I have noticed that the product tends to reduce dark spots but I cannot testify its claim of reducing fine lines, excluding this the product works well.
  6. This product has a yummy list of ingredients that consists mainly of virgin cold pressed oils and herbal blends as well as it is free from alcohol, parabens and mineral oil so a big Thumbs Up!

Overall verdict: A light in texture, hydrating serum that works wonderfully when mixed with foundations or on it’s own. All in all a great serum!
