Za True White Toner – The Chicster Diaries

HiyA Lovelies,

If you have seen my previous post on the Organic Harvest Green Cucumber Toner you would known it by now that I do not like toners that are too intense or have a strong alcohol content in them. This time I was on the hunt for a toner that would actually make a visible difference in my pore size but is not harsh on my skin. I had come across the Za True White Toner a couple of times earlier but on a friend’s recommendation I finally picked it up. I have tried a couple of products from the brand Za and they all turned out to be good so I wasn’t that skeptic. I have been using this product religiously for more than a month, so lets find out about my experience with this product.

Za True White Toner

Price: Rs. 699/- for 150ml

Claims: This brightening Toner gives high Whitening effect by diminishing melanisation dark sports, blemish marks and patchiness to reveal translucent, clear skin; and Moisturizing effect by removing excess skin surface cells, deeply hydrating the skin to make it soft and supple.

Enables emulsion and cream to penetrate into the skin smoothly.

How to Use: After cleansing, pat face dry with a towel. Use a cotton pad or your hands to smooth an appropriate amount over the face. Starting on the broader areas of the cheeks and forehead, slowly blend in from the center of the face outwards.

Results:

  • The toner comes in an elegant white bottle with a dripper nozzle on the top as you can see in the picture above. It has a typical sweet scent that nearly all Za products have but I can’t quite describe it. The scent is not at all bothersome to me and does not linger around for a long time.
  • The formula is lightweight and gets easily absorbed by the skin almost instantly. I detest toners that leave your skin feeling greasy after application but gladly this doesn’t do so.
  • I have been using it for more than a month now and have not noticed any dry patches after application. I have a combination skin and my skin feels sufficiently hydrated, smooth and revitalized unlike some toners that tend to dry out the skin.
  • I have used it prior to makeup application and this helps me prep my face really well. As well as this even helps moisturisers and serums get absorbed well into the skin.
  • The best feature I found about it is that it minimizes pores. I have witnessed visible difference within a month after using this product religiously. I know I am not imagining this as a couple of other people have even noticed this difference in me.
  • It claims to suppress melanization, diminish dark spots, blemish marks and patchiness. Truly speaking, I have been using a couple of other products as well to help reduce my dark spots so I cannot really comment if this does stand true to this claim.

Overall verdict: The Za True White Toner is light texture, non greasy hydrating toner that helps minimize pores as claimed. I am super happy with this toner and would give it a big Thumbs Up!
